Pfizer and Adani Transmission stocks fall after ASM inclusion

BSE, NSE have placed pharma major Pfizer and power company Adani Transmission under the ASM framework.

Adani Transmission and Pfizer were trading lower 2% on the BSE as these companies have been shortlisted in the Additional Surveillance Measures (ASM) framework with effect from today, the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India said in separate circulars on Wednesday.

The BSE has also named IT company Accel. These securities will be reviewed on a bimonthly and periodic basis.

As per BSE notice, a total of 148 stocks are in the ASM framework currently.

Pfizer Ltd is currently trading down 2.42% at Rs3,556 from its previous closing of Rs3,644.10 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs3,479 and has touched a high and low of Rs3,612.95 and Rs3,461.90 respectively.

Adani Transmission Ltd is currently trading down 2.35% at Rs228.65 from its previous closing of Rs234.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs225.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs232.90 and Rs222.45 respectively.
